On March 8 from 9 am to 12:30 pm, Leon County will host the Leon Works Expo at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center. The Expo connects employers and students and provides young people with opportunities to explore skilled careers- Health, business & IT, Trade and Creative. Over 500 students from Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla counties are scheduled to attend this year's Expo. This event is a great opportunity for you to engage with the next generation and let them know about the opportunities available within your organization.
At 1:30 p.m. the Expo will feature keynote speaker, Alicia Rainwater who will present ''Bridging the Multi-Generational Gap: Meet the Future Talent.'' The presentation includes specific strategies to attract, motivate, and retain your workforce talent and is FREE to all Leon Works exhibitors and $10 for non-exhibitors.
